Kyra was born very sick blind and deaf. She was in linev to take the throne when her mother would pass as her clan had always hadfemale alphas. Her mother then made a deal with a demon if she would give up her secound born which was kyras brother kanton the demon would tell her mother how to make kyra live and prosper. She made the deal and kantons soul was sold to him. To her mothers dismay she found out tge only way to keep her daughter alive was to kill three fairys and lock their hearts in a bottle. She was told to put it as a necklace around kyras neck and never allow it to be off or het daughter would surley suffer and die. The price. Although was even more than the mother had thought. For killing faries is a hellish deed her soul was damned and the mother slowly and painfuly died over the next year. Leaving kyra alone in a world and pack who hated and feared her assuming she herself would become a demon.
