Just wondering if they exist. I feel like an idiot when I try to add a backslash or star in a comment, and the phrases I'm trying to say get sanitized (e.g., him/her becomes himher).

not a bug, the characters are limited to a-z A-Z 0-9 and basic punctuation

its for security, so links, scripts, etc cannot be embeded into comments.

Yup, I figured as much.
Would it be possible to add a list of acceptable characters by the comments box? If it's a built-in PHP function, I could just look them up based on that, but not everybody has that kind of patience.

Perhaps if we cant type them could we at least sellect them from a drop down list? of emotions and feelings and stuff? idk
