A Little More About Bāden Posted by: Bāden at 08-21-2014 23:11 PM, Last Modified 08-21-2014 23:11 PM |
Bāden had been travelling almost nonstop for a few months now, trekking through the heat of the wide open expanses, his body weak from hunger and nearly dead from dehydration, yet he continued going. By now, his father's motorcycle was long gone, stolen by some unknown hoodlum and later found in such horrid condition, Bāden almost didn't recognize it. So, now he was travelling on foot, to various small towns or big cities, meeting people who he kinda liked, staying where he could until he felt the urge to leave again. Little did he know, he'd touched a lot of lives, changed a lot of minds and got many people to change their outlook on life. So, he was rather surprised that, after finally collapsing in the middle of a long stretch of hot, desert road, he'd been picked up by a pair of nice young women who had placed some of their food in front of him for him to eat when he awoke. He refused the food at first, but finally gave in after they continued to insist that he ate. He let his tail wag slowly as he ate gratefully, looking up once he was done and asking "So, why'd you pick me up?" "Well" one of the girls said, wearing a thin, sleeveless tie-died shirt and skinny white pants "you're Bāden, right?" He perked and eyebrow and nodded at her "We've heard a lot about you from a friend of ours" The other girl said, wearing a sweater for whatever reason, along with baggy blue jeans "Who might that be?" Bāden asked. "You remember Jase?" "Not really..." "Well, he's the one who told us about you" She smiled brightly at him "You seem like a really cool guy" He shrugged and leaned back against the side of the truck's bed, breathing deeply with his eyes closed and letting himself enjoy this brief period of rest, because he knew he'd be traveling by foot again soon. Faintly, he heard some clattering nearby him, and he opened his eyes, looking over at the two girls, who were fidgeting with something he couldn't see. He decided it didn't much matter what they were doing and went back to relaxing, letting the bright, warm sun mix with the wind whipping through his fur and slowly letting his weary body drift into sleep. When he woke up, they were in a town, rather small and very bright due to the sun, just like any other town on thus stretch of road, so he thought nothing of it as he climbed out of the truck. As he stretched himself out, he began to notice subtle differences about the town, for instance, it seemed much more deserted than most towns, in small towns, not many people tend to be out, but there's still people in stores or in their yards, and yet here, there was nothing, just the buildings slowly being bleached by the sun's merciless rays. Bāden looked around slowly and suspiciously, beginning to notice a strange, vaguely familiar scent lingering in the air, and not trusting it a bit. He noticed a figure standing off in the distance and relaxed a bit 'Just a djregg' he thought. He waved silently and the figure waved back, and he slowly relaxed again, djregg towns were almost always empty like this during the day, the sun is usually too bright for their eyes so they try to avoid it as much as possible. He heard movement from behind him and whirled around quickly, seeing the two girls from earlier, now accompanied by a gigantic white wolf, and Bāden was smitten. He gawked at her a moment before shaking his head tersely and walking up to the girls. "Hey there" He said warmly, extending a paw to the giant wolf, easily standing 15 feet tall, and she shook his paw with a decent grip, smiling back at him, the sight of their bared, eerily white fangs causing chills along the spines of the two human girls who were watching. "Hi" The giant wolf said, just as warmly as Bāden had "It's nice to meet you. Most people around here call me Angel" Bāden smiled a little wider and chuckled a bit "I can see why, you look amazing, heh" "My, you don't waste time, do you?" She giggled at him and stood a bit taller, towering over Bāden but still seeming cute and innocent. "I try to be straightforward, yeah" He said with a chuckle "but I'm being completely honest, you're beautiful." She giggled and pushed him softly, playfully "Well, aren't you Mr. Charming?" "Well, I have been told I have a way with words" He chuckled lightly "Oh, I'm Bāden, by the way" "It's nice to meet you, Bāden" She smiled warmly at him and gestured to the truck he'd come here in "Need a ride somewhere?" "Nah" He smiled up at her "I like where I'm at now...the view is gorgeous, you know" They both laughed and the two humans climbed into the truck and drove off... Sealing Bāden's doom... Him and Angel had a very nice relationship, they'd got out for food when they could, staying home and cuddling when they couldn't, just all around loving each other's company. After a few months, and making absolutely sure that Bāden was in love with her, Angel invited him to her house for an "extended stay" "Sure" Bāden said, smiling "I'd love to stay over at your place for a little while" "Good" She replied, smiling softly and planning out the night's entertainment. She took one of his paws gently and walked with him to her house, walking in before him like usual, because he always held the door for her. She watched him closely as he walked in, suddenly slamming and elbow into his skull and watching him drop like a sack of bricks. She picked him up and shut the door, locking it up tightly before walking to the back of the house and heading into her cellar with him. She went into her cellar, and opened a door at the way back, revealing her "play room" essentially a torture chamber where she played her games with whoever she could. She took her time strapping him up and smiled as she watched him wake up, his semi-transluscent orange blood leaking slowly down his face from the wound she'd given him. "Now for the real fun" She said as he woke up, but she doubted he heard it, he was too bbusy wondering where he was. She took two quick steps forward and slapped him hard across the face, raking her claws through his cheek as she did and leaving four bloody trails behind. He looked at her with intense glowing eyes, full of hate and fear. "By the time I'm done here..." She said softly to him "Those eyes will be faded...and you will be crying and screaming for mercy...." She did her best to ensure that, torturing him harshly for nearly a week and a half, bringing him multiple times to the brink of death, and never once bringing a tear to his eye, never once getting him to beg. 'Little fucker can take some punishment...' She thought, focused on how to break him. "Hmm...." She looked up at a pair of old, rusty garden shears she'd used to gouge his skin multiple times, and had almost eviscerated him with a few times. "I have an idea..." She smirked to herself and grabbed the shears, walking back to Bāden's bleeding and bound form "Okay" She said "This'll probably be out last game" She smiled at him and he give a bit of a wriggle in his bindings, his eyes still glowing at her, almost mocking her. She continued smiling as she lifted the shears in from of his face, then slowly pressed them against his shoulder, dragging them down around his back, then slowly placing the blades on either side of his tail. "Ready?" She asked, not waiting for an answer. She quickly grabbed his tail and slammed the shears together, severing his tail about and inch from it's base and lifting it slowly to her face. Now he was screaming in agony, now he was crying and begging for his life, after all he'd been thru, it was just the tail she'd needed to take. She smiled softly, loving the sounds of his pain and agony as she slowly licked up the blood from his tail, getting a devilish idea that she'd enjoy in more than one way. She slowly walked in front of him and slipped his tail into her maw, slowly slurping it up inr front of him and grinning once she'd swallowed the whole thing. It really was a delicious tail, and she wondered briefly what the rest of him would taste like if she cut it off and sucked it down like a noodle, but then she heard a lot of commotion up stairs. Bāden watched her turn around and walk away. He couldn't believe what was happening, literally could not, his brain was fogged by too much pain for him to comprehend anything at all. The world slowly faded to black and his next full memory was waking up in a hospital some time later with no tail and pain still racking his body. He left onve again, no longer wanting to love anyone. Now he knew why he was wandering, if he stayed somewhere too long, he'd get attached...and he didn't want that any time soon...or ever again...After asking around a bit, it had turned out that he'd woken up a full three days after the whole incident, it took another week for the pain to subside and the rest of a lifetime to get used to having no tail......... |
