About Me:
Once upon a time, most people knew me as Lin. I had a fursuit, went to conventions, met fellow furs, but that chapter in my life is closed with only the dust jacket available to be read. There are remnants of commissions I bought or were gifted on a nearly-abandoned FA account, framed artwork filling in the gaps of anime/nerd poster collages on the wall, badges of an identity I once wore with pride stuffed in a drawer, and a fursuit that has long been sold when I needed the money more than a memory.
I guess at this point you are asking yourself: Why am I here? Truth is, even though I have all but completely ignored who I was back then, I can't quite escape it. There's still that .. panda .. within me, y'know? When I really reflect on it, the main reasons why I turned my back onto that part of myself was the haunting memories of a relationship I couldn't really let go (until a couple of years ago) and how .. superficial the fandom was when I was really in the scene. People didn't like me for me, they only liked me because my fursuit was cute. When the head was off, no one knew the pretty cool gal, if I do say so myself, behind the mask.
So, if I haven't scared you off from me at this point, get to know me for me. I promise I won't bite, lol.
As mentioned, I am a lesbian gamer/nerdy gal. I have been attending Anime Weekend Atlanta almost yearly; spending a decent amount of time on crunchyroll.com, waiting in line for midnight releases of all sorts of movies; cosplaying; leveling on Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, or some other MMO; rolling D20s; holding my breath during The Walking Dead (and crying too); and going thrift shopping for vintage action figures and comics.
