Sorry for the site downtime earlier today, i didnt get much warning about it. The Cooling system in the network rack failed and they notified me they needed the servers shut down ASAP so they could kill the racks power and swap out the unit. Without cooling the rack would build heat the longer the servers are left on.
I had noticed yesterday that the server temperatures were a little higher than normal but they were still in the safe area and it was a hot day so i didnt pay it any serious attention. The datacenter maintains a ambient temperature inside of about 74^F, but the racks are closed which allows heat to build inside them if their ventilation systems arent working.
