Facebook admin, in their infinite stupidity regarding their ID verification rules, have blocked the account of FurrTrax's owner, Xander Venterus.
It seems lately they have been blocking a lot of Indian members, as well as other minorities as well, and leaves one to wonder if anyone is actually using any common sense at Facebook HQ.
In the Interim Sonny, A friend of Xanders will be overseeing the FurrTrax Group on Facebook since Xander is now completely locked out. If any news needs posted to the group it will be related to Sonny for posting, untill Facebooks admin teams remove their heads from their asses.
IF you feel this post is strongly worded it was intentional, with the hope that someone at Facebook sees it. And FIXES this problem so we can then remove this news post!
This rule effectively means, Any whistleblowers, or people living in places with oppressive governments cannot speak out on facebook, because facebook will force them to reveal their true identities, thus condemning them, and potentially their families to the danger of retribution. Facebook, Your new rule is un-ethical, and un-american!

| Cain: Also that whole unethicalunamerican rant is just stupid, considering facebook is a MULTINATIONAL corporation, who has to deal with the laws of MULTIPLE countries, besides the US. The VERY reason they're overzealous on this name shit is because when they weren't people started bitching about troll accounts, so they've gone the opposite direction and gotten TOO likely to mark someone for just one complaint, or one thing that sticks out as 'might be a troll'. |
| Cain: Honestly if you don't want any dealings with facebook you should stop dealing with ANY 'free' website as the whole reason they're free is YOU are the thing they sell. Your information is used by so many people, even on those 'reputable' websites, that you may as well just get off the internet if you want to avoid what other websites have been doing just as long as facebook, facebook's just the most well known so everyone flips their shit when they hear about it. |

| Cain: Also, which page are you talking about, cause I did a search for furrtrax and it brings up both the 'group' and the 'community' page, when I do a facebook search bar. |
| Cain: I had a similar issue when I tried to associate my google voicenumber with facebook and wasn't at my machine that had the google voice on it. Ended up having to do the Real ID verification thing then after I did that SOMEHOW my account was almost hacked, so their real ID didn't do SHIT to help protect me, did it? |
