Im in the process of writing up new profiles on the places I socialize. For a while, I had blanked my profile out sp I have had blank profiles for a while.

Most of my profile info is written woth a good idea of things I would want to share. It seems to be the initial first sentences that I struggle with.

In looking around on my own, I see most go with "Hi, I am ____" , " My name is ____ and Im from __location__". Kind of trying to avoid that, as the writer and grammar stickler in me is hesitant.

One guess is to start with a quote that defines me somehow or expresses something about my personality. (I have a few and they arent just taken from famous people). Can anyone suggest other ideas for an intro/starting paragraph?
