20k members with a few new ones frequently but not so busy it seems, aye.  As you I finally determined that I "may" be a furry or more accurately I enjoy Anthro.  I have been a SciFi/Fantasy fan for years in literature and movies and an avid RPG'er up through the 80's so this is a logical conclusion and next step I suppose.  Welcome to the community and hope you make friends as you would like to.

It's true that these days the site doesn't get much traffic, but in a way I sort of prefer that, as it tends to also keep away the more toxic people. As for myself, I suppose I've always been around the fandom, but only really started to get involved (and even then, not really) a few years ago. Probably doesn't help that I'm not super great when it comes to socialization, but eh, it is what it is.

I agree about the artwork.  I enjoy it in print, computer and animated forms.  Not sure exactly what the myths and legends mean other then the classical style from the older cultures across the world and time.  But yes, the artwork.  Some of it is quite beautifully done and/or rendered.  Different styles have different affects.  Never been involved in any sort of fandom stuff other then a couple of sci-fi cons back in the 70's and 80's.  Don't go in much for large scale events though like sports/concerts, while I can  handle crowds I don't like them.

Nah.  Just a little dormancy it seems.  As for me I have a three day weekend coming up with the only thing planned being to brew a small batch of Bavarian Wheat Beer.  :)
